You lost your job

We call it churn

The market fell

It took a turn.

You did your bit

We know it’s sad

But cheaper labour

To be had.

You took your turn

You did your bit

Too bad the little man

Gets hit.

Your time is up

So that’s your lot

You’re out of here

Soon be forgot.

Words are the beauty of our language. Think of words like “bark” or “train” and see how many ways one can use them! It’s that way with “churn.” Great thoughts and thanks!
