I’m apt to play…..
The victim.

I take all the pain
Because in that way
It’s others to blame
And I am just
The victim.

Things may go wrong
But I won’t be to blame
Someone else will
I will just be
The victim.

I should walk away
And yet choose to stay
Much easier to be
The victim.
