Negotiate a corner

Negotiate a corner,

Negotiate a bend

Take it very careful

Get there in the end.

You have to find

The perfect line

The route that

Gets you round.

Take the corner

Far too hard

You’ll end up

Underground.

Taking it too widely

Could bring trouble too.

Negotiate it carefully

Take the perfect line

You’ll round the corner safely

And in perfect time.

Integrity

Sometimes you have to lose it

To know what it really is.

Integrity;

Being one, whole person

A single face for all the faces

That you meet.

The danger is

You change your story

Tell it differently

Dishonestly

Each new ear you greet.

Things fall apart

A different you

In each new place;

A tangled life

Of straying feet.

Stumbling, falling

Coming apart.

Gallivant

You gallivant about the joint

As if you own the place

Never offer any help

It’s frankly a disgrace.

I’d say you’re just a passenger

You’ve just come for the ride.

I get so angry sometimes

The anger’s hard to hide.

You’ll go gallivanting

And expect a welcome back

It’s me that’s left to do the work

And take up all the slack.

While you’re off gallivanting

Caught in your social whirl

It’s me that’s left to clear things up.

It makes me want to hurl!

Meh!!

Meh!!

They messed around within WordPress,

Missing my Daily Prompt.

Others just got on with it

But I’m left out of joint.

’Meh’ is kind of the word for it

It’s kind of how I feel.

Not quite feeling up to it

Not quite up to the mark.

I needed something to shake me up

Maybe this is it?
