Limerence (Limerick)

I learned a new word called ‘limerence’

And used it while under the influence

It’s time I confessed

Though I’m usually obsessed

I failed to treat it with reverence.

Unsuccessful (Limerick)

Supposed to do a limerick

A young man was not good at it.

He’d such a big head

Wrote a sonnet instead

And thought ‘it won’t matter a bit’.
