What profession do you admire most and why?
It’s tough to spin the this question
As I so often do
There’s one profession springs to mind
Our doctors that is who.
A worthier profession
It’s hard to bring to mind
For what is more important
Than the health
Of human kind?
It’s such extensive training
It takes so many years
Life and death decisions
Responsibility their’s.
I do admire our doctors
Not something I could do
There is so much to understand
So much they have to learn.
And then there are the specialism
More than I can name.
So many different body parts
And each has got its man.
So give it up for medics
A really clever bunch
And real important people
We rely on oh so much.
