Mellifluous?
I’m furious!
How did I sign up for this?
So sweet a word
So hard a task
Checked the meaning
Had to ask.
Can I come up
with honeyed words?
Sweet’s not me
Don’t be absurd.
I’m taking rupi’s honeyed verse
Twisting it to something else.
Light and Bitter more my style
Sacharine sweet will take some guile.
I hope my verse is sonorous
And not the usual terse, gruff stuff.
Best a grumpy bloke can do
That’s me done.Have had enough.
